“Jen”erally Speaking…the voice of a young widow

Hey there!

Hi, I’m Jen, I was widowed, unexpectedly at the age of 41. Struggling to put one foot in front of the other and create a new future for myself that looks very different than the one I had imagined for so long. I am not the same person that I was before my husband passed. I am grieving and I have grown. I appreciate the people in my life far more than I would have every realized before. This blog is a way for me to share my journey and help others to appreciate what they have because I have been taught a life lesson that you don’t know what tomorrow will bring and you need to be present with the people in your life and embrace all of what life has to offer while you still can.
